The other side of the inflation problem: Iran

Iran reported it's inflation rate for February 2009, 24% over the year. Now that's a different story!

The chart illustrates inflation rates in Iran reaching 24% in February, down from its 30% peak in October 2008. This is very problematic inflation. From Reuters:
"Sometimes we have to change the price stickers three times a day because of inflation," the 42-year-old Tehran grocer said.

  1. Looks like April 08 was an anomaly. So where is Iran in the grand scheme of things financial?
