it's odd...i can remember the 1987 crash like it was yesterday...i was putting shingles on the west side of my roof while getting the market reports off the radio...
500 points was quite a hit, back in the day...

That was about the debt ceiling debate. Next month will show the equity effects on consumer sentiment. But it's unlikely to be good.
